This is the link to the Wikipedia page on reflective practice. Wikipedia is what it is so for greater understanding I would delve deeper but it will give you a general idea. Most nursing students like the Gibbs model as it easy to use and fits well with most situations. Using a model/tool allows clearer thinking and clearer expression of those thoughts and feelings.
